The staff at the carpark can't speak English and his attitude is horrible. They claimed parking spot is available in the ad but the space is actually very limited. They asked me to park in a public carpark nearby but it turns out the fee is quite high.

Required a deposit for the key card. when checked out no refund for key card deposit. Parkin guy was rude and aggressive. One of the rooms had blood stains on the wall. Stains in the carpet. Requested a cleaner room and denied. Total dump/ bad employees

New Onsen. Good location in town and close to train station if you need to go there. Free parking. I’ve stayed here many times.

Main building is still old but they did remodel since my last stay a couple years ago. You have to walk outside to next building for the new Onsen but it is very nice.

Very central location close to training station and short walk to the canal. Very large and comfortable bed for two adults. Excellent onsen

Hotel was located quite near the train station so it is walkable distance. The triple room was a bit small but worth the price that you pay. The staffs were really friendly and helpful and some were fluent in English! :)

The hotel is made up of 2 buildings with 1 being across the road. We stayed in this one and had to cross the road to get to the reception and onsen. It is a bit of a hassle especially after enjoying the onsen. Do take note that onsen fees are compulsory (you pay when checking in) so might as well enjoy a dip while you are there!

I left my passport there and sent it to me in Tokyo within like 2 days - absolute legends!

Great jumping off point for skiing. Loved the onsen. Very nice. Good and helpful staff. Close to train, Ocean, and attractions. Clean and happy room with everything you need. A clean dressing gown every day!

excellent location. minutes walk from station. minutes walk to canal area. minutes walk to convenience store and other food options. onsite free onsen.

a little pricey for what you get, but since we wnet during prime winter event season, it's to be expected. room feels a bit dated, and not many power plugs. bathroom was tiny (cruise ship tiny). staff is friendly, but still required automated computer check-in/check out, wich isnt the easiest system to understand.

Good location as only a short walk from the train station and not far to walk to the canal area. Good size room.

The room could do with being refurbished. Fittings were old and damaged. Smallest bathroom we have ever had and we have traveled a lot - good job we are not large people. We were charged an extra ¥300 for use of the onsen when we checked in. This was not mentioned when we booked the room and when we queried it before paying at the property we were told it was a compulsory charge. ¥300 is not a lot, but we had no intention of using the onsen.

its location on the Main Street halfway between the railway/bus station and the canal. plenty of eating options nearby.- plus the Green Onsen next door! but alas we didn’t have time to experience it. Our room had a great view over the the snow-laden rooves to the mountain side.

Everything, especially the staff who is super friendly and helpful. Always glad to help.

The check in process which done with computers. A pain. Why is it so complicated while it was so easy before? Hopefully the staff is well trained to help, once again. ??
